Concept

Mirage is a virtual tribute event designed to honor hip-hop artists whose lives were tragically cut short due to drug addiction. Inspired by the rising popularity of virtual reality and virtual concerts like those in Fortnite, the project blends the energy of a live hip-hop performance with a meaningful cause. All proceeds from Mirage go to organizations supporting individuals battling addiction, merging entertainment with vital social impact and ensuring that the legacies of these artists continue to inspire change.

Creative strategy

The creative strategy for Mirage was to evoke the illusion of a mirage itself by incorporating elements like reflection, glare, and contrasting colors in the design. I wanted the visuals to prompt deeper questions about life, death, and the possibility of reincarnation, even as we celebrate the legacies of hip-hop artists. With Mirage, you get to experience your favorite artists performing again in a virtual realm while supporting a good cause, turning the illusion into a powerful, meaningful reality.

For the Mirage ad campaign, my goal was to show that you can access the Mirage music festival anywhere, even in your own room!
